Michelle is a wife, grandmother, writer and proud mother of three children--two biological and one Russian adopted daughter. She lives in northern Indiana--the orthopedic capital of the world where every day future hips, knees and shoulders are manufactured.
She writes stories that move her. Sometimes they're fiction and sometimes they're nonfiction.
Her current wips include: The Muggler, Willow, Love is Just a Word, Kelly's Story, The Vision in a Kiss.
She's been published in Adoptive Families, Brio Magazine, Church Libraries, Kyria, The Writer's Digest and has won contests in both The Writer's Journal and The Writer's Digest. Love is Just a Word was a bronze medalist is the 2010 Frasier Contest, and Love is Just a Word, was a 2011 semi-finalst in the ACFW Genesis Contest.
Willow is currently entered in the ABNA contest and is being considered by Abingdon Press.
